Catullo
Once acquired the expertise in producing dry-cured ham, we have decided to take a following step and produce a High Quality Cooked Ham: Catullo. A natural cooked ham, made up from Antibiotic Free Pigs*, bred in our farm and suitable for PDO productions.
Catullo is a compact excellently marbled cooked ham with a perfect balance between the lean and the fat parts. Its exclusive flavour is given by a blend of natural aromas and spices, which exalt the original taste of the meat. Catullo is slowly steamed at low temperature to preserve its juicy and extremely soft texture.
During this phase a small amount of Marsala wine is added to enrich Catullo’s elegant fragrance and sweetness.
It has no polyphosphates, milk and plant proteins, gluten, added water and glutamate.
*Kiwa certification DT35 ALI 01894, antibiotic free after the 49th day of birth
